Solitude

Taking inspiration from the rolling hills of Kiama in the south coast of NSW, this work is deceptive. It could be a view down to the sea or across the mountain ranges to a solitary cloud hanging in the sky with it’s siblings rolling in from the distance. Either way it is a simplistic, childlike rendition of a beautiful part of the world

There is nothing quite like an original artwork. The application and treatment of mediums, be it immaculate translucence layering or thick impasto textures never cease to entrance. The effect and impact is perpetual and spine tinglingly powerful.
